If grains were trendy, quinoa is the "it" grain, but I have a feeling quinoa is around to stay. I've been integrating it into my diet more and more every day. Hot, cold, lunch, dinner, you name it, I love it. I remind everyone that the key to a good quinoa dish is to rinse it before cooking it. It's one extra step that makes all the difference. I'm dishing up boatload's of this Skirt Steak with Quinoa and Black Bean Salsa at Mariano's. Don't love steak, use the salsa on salad, chicken, pork or fish. Even pack it to go with a bag of chips!
