This webisode has to be one of my favorites for a few reasons. First, Chef Patricio Sandoval of Mercadito is one of the funniest guys I've worked with so far. Second, I love the food at Mercadito and if I didn't have the handsome Prince Charming in my life, I'd marry Patricio for his tacos! Third, it's hard to see on the video but the kitchen is so small, we had to work around all the cooks getting ready for lunch service…it was a tight squeeze. Once I realized how small the kitchen is for any restaurant, I was even more amazed by the food they put out to crowds of people. 

Chef was skeptical when I requested the Fried Fish for Cooking with Beauty. The dish is a special for events (not on the menu) because, as you'll see, it's labor intensive. After filleting the fish, dredging it and frying it, I was surprised how easy the process was, even for a homecook. Although, having Chef Patricio by my side made it even easier…the only thing missing were shots of tequila!
