The Publican and PQM Hosts Grower Champagne Dinner

By kikilu — May 02, 2013

Don't know what Grower Champagne is? Beauty and Her Feast had to do a little research herself. Grower Champagnes and sparkling wines are produced by the same estate that owns the vineyards from which the grapes come. "Just as local farmers play a huge part in dictating the Publican's menu, we thought it made sense to feature champagnes produced with the same care and environmental awareness," writes The Publican.

Thus, this month the Publican is showcasing affordable grower champagnes on the wine menu, as well as collaborating with Publican Quality Meats to host a Champagne dinner on Wednesday, May 8th at 7 PM.

The dinner will feature five grower-producers alongside a meal prepared by chef Paul Kahan and chefs of PQM. Wine consultant and renowned French wine exporter, Peter Wasserman will be on hand as well.
