"Life itself is the proper binge." -Julia Child
It's all about the food. Want to know my faves from all over? Here ya go…
Four Seasons Chicago, especially the short rib sliders on the bar menu. Also, the Lobster in the main dining room is absolutely one of my favorite meals in the city. Taste for yourself if you don’t believe.
120 E. Delaware, Chicago
Naha. Hmmmmmm…just about anything Chef Carrie cooks, I consume with vigor.
500 N. Dearborn, Chicago
Milk & Honey, I rarely order pancakes (ugh, I’m hypoglycemic and my sugar goes bananas on them) but I LOVE their multi-grain pancakes.
1920 W. Division, Chicago
Eggshells, yet again, I don’t eat often but worship their light and fluffy potato pancakes. I sneak them with my oldest daughter!
596 W. Rt. 22, Lake Zurich Il.
Belly Shack, How do I love thee Asian Meatballs with Rice Noodles…so much, I dream about them often that I worry about myself.
1912 N. Western Avenue, Chicago
The Bristol, I love their small plates and especially love their homemade pasta dishes.
2152 N. Damen, Chicago
Sunda, My favorite veggie, believe it or not, is Brussels Sprouts. Sunda has the best Crispy Brussels Sprout Salad with fried shallots, chilis and minced shrimp. The first thing I tell the server when we sit down, put in the Brussels Sprouts…and we usually order a second bowl.
110 W. Chicago, Chicago
Sushi Kushi, Hands down my favorite sushi place. We often order take-out but the role that wins…VOLCANO ROLL. It's got tuna, it's spicy and has tons of chili-spiked tempura flakes erupting out of the top!
Lake Forest, Highland Park and Vernon Hills
Kelly Liken, her restaurant has to be listed on my Yummy Tummy because it truly was one of the best meals I've had. She is a gem in the culinary world.
12 Vail Road, Vail, CO
Larkspur, the most labor intensive version of a tator tot but by far, the best!
Ste A, 458 Vail Valley Drive, Vail, CO
