So far, this segment was the most fun to film mostly because Chef John Beatty had a great time doing it. It's unfortunate we couldn't include more because we laughed the entire time and there was some seriously funny footage. Once again, this cooking segment proved to me that a dish doesn't need to be complicated. If you take the time to watch the entire segment, you will see that you can make the Truffle Egg Toast at home very easily with basic ingredients. Thus, the reason I started the video series for my readers! 

Here is the list of ingredients you will need:

Firm white bread, cut approximately 2" thick and crust removed
2 egg yolks
Fontina cheese, two slices
3 stalks asparagus, sliced on the bias, thinly
Butter…kind of a lot
Drizzle of truffle oil
